Understand how students progress through Ignition

Updated over a week ago

Students begin Ignition by taking a Level Placement that will give them a Zinc level between 1 and 7. Based on their Zinc Level, they’ll be asked to complete a specific number of required levels for each Ignition skill.

Students will always have the opportunity to complete levels beyond their required levels, or bonus levels. Completing bonus levels provides a level of challenge that can really impact growth!

For each required level, there are three rounds available. If a student gets most of the questions correct on the first round, they will move up to the next level. If not, they’ll move to the second round for that level, then the third.

You can track students’ progress through levels and find out if they needed extra practice by going into rounds 2 or 3 using Ignition Reports.
